The awarding of the 1st Venâncio Aires Cultural Trophy will take place this Saturday (2), at the Reading Club. The event will recognize the artists and entities that stood out during this year. The ceremony is scheduled to start at 7pm with musical attractions, dinner and tributes.
According to the coordinator of the Department of Culture, Sandro Kroth, the event is open to the public, and the expectation is that it will bring together the honorees, family members, members of the cultural community and authorities of Venâncio Aires. “Let’s strengthen ties and recognize the fundamental role of culture in society.”
The program will feature musical performances by Thomás Lenz, Clube Orquestra and Banda Alphorria. Cards for the dinner-dance are being sold at a cost of R$42 and can be purchased in advance at the Reading Club secretariat.
The ceremony will award certificates of participation and trophies to the highlights at municipal, state, national and international levels. The initiative aims to promote the recognition of people who are dedicated to promoting local culture, whether through artistic, literary, musical, educational actions or other forms of cultural expression.
The 1st Cultural Trophy is held by the City Hall in partnership with Sesc Venâncio Aires and the Municipal Council of Culture and Sports.
