The Municipal Health Department (SMS) announced that, due to the remaining effects of Friday’s storm (11/17), the operation of Basic Health Units (UBSs) may be affected on Monday (11/20).
At UBS Centro de Saúde, appointments scheduled for the morning will be transferred to UBS São Vicente. At UBS Fátima Baixa, services will resume throughout the day on Monday, after repairs are completed by the maintenance team.
UBS São Caetano will not carry out vaccinations early in the morning, as the vaccines were removed at the weekend due to a long period of power outage, and the vaccines need to be refrigerated. The situation should normalize throughout Monday.
The SMS advises that, exceptionally, the population who needs care on Monday seek other UBSs in the Municipality. Due to the significant impacts of Friday’s storm, other problems may arise on Monday.
