Santa Casa de Porto Alegre opened registrations this Thursday (11/16) for the first classes of the institution’s Technical School. Recently opened, the new teaching unit begins its activities by offering a technical course in Nursing, combining theory and practice in one of the most modern hospital complexes in the country, a reference in high complexity.
Lasting 24 months, classes are available in the morning, afternoon and evening, providing students with flexibility. The objective is to prepare future professionals in the field for market challenges, providing opportunities for technical, scientific, social and humanistic development to work in health prevention, assistance and rehabilitation. Classes start in March 2024.
Qualification course
The Santa Casa Technical School also begins its activities offering three qualification courses. They are: Hospitality Attendant, Nutrition Attendant and Supply Assistant. The courses are free, with the exception of the registration fee, and are short in duration (60 theoretical hours and 100 practical hours at Santa Casa). Classes will be held in January 2024.
Focusing on qualifications to work in operational support in the areas of nutrition, hospitality and supplies, the courses seek to increase the employability of students in healthcare establishments.
