The Tax Law Academic League of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) reached an impressive milestone by winning the V Brazilian Tax Law Moot (MBDT). The event, which took place in Salvador, Bahia, on October 20th and 21st, is a simulation trial competition in Tax Law. Students are challenged to analyze a fictitious case and defend their clients through written briefs and oral arguments before renowned professionals in the field.

In addition to winning the title of Champions, the UFRGS team was also awarded the second best applicant’s memorial, demonstrating the students’ excellence and commitment to Tax Law.
