The City of Cachoeirinha launched the TechEducação Program: Empowering the Future, which offers a subsidy of up to R$5,500 so that employees of the Municipal Department of Education (Smed) can purchase notebooks for use at work. The program can benefit around 1,299 public servants in Education, including teachers, coordinators, directors and administrative employees. The investment will be around R$7 million.
To participate, servers must access this link and follow the instructions. The notebook must be used for work-related activities and, after three years, it can stay with the server. In case of dismissal from the position or departure due to other legal reasons, the equipment must be returned to Smed.
For the head of Education, Isabel Fonseca, this is another important step in the qualification of Education in the municipality. “We know that technology is an essential tool for the development of education and the training of our students. Therefore, we are investing in this program that will train our employees and provide more resources for their work,” she stated.
