The Municipal Health Department (SMS) of Caxias do Sul released the vaccination schedule against Covid-19 for next week. The booster vaccination with the bivalent will be carried out on Monday and Friday in 18 Basic Health Units (UBSs).
The target audience for this vaccine includes people aged 12 or over who have comorbidities, permanent disabilities or are immunocompromised, as well as pregnant and postpartum women (women up to 45 days after giving birth) and people aged 18 or over in general. It is necessary to have received at least two doses of vaccines against Covid-19 previously, with a minimum interval of four months after the last dose.
On Friday, vaccination with the monovalent vaccine (first, second and third doses) will be carried out for people aged 12 and over in the seven Basic Units with extended opening hours (from 8am to 7pm). Vaccination for children aged six months to 11 years will be carried out by appointment at the same Basic Units.
The SMS informs that the Esplanada Basic Unit is undergoing renovations and is therefore temporarily operating at the following address: Av. Dr. Assis Antônio Mariani, 585 Sala 1, close to Crisan Supermarket.
