Sicredi Pioneira is promoting a series of free online workshops for entities interested in participating in the Social Fund in 2024. The workshops, which will be held on November 9th, 14th and 22nd, aim to assist in the preparation of projects and do not require registration Preview.
The Social Fund, created in 2015, allocates at least 1% of the previous year’s profits to proposals from non-profit entities in the areas of education, culture or inclusive sport. In 2023, R$2.8 million was allocated to 342 projects. Proposals are evaluated in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the World Agenda (Agenda 2030), established at the United Nations summit on Sustainable Development.
To participate in 2024, the entity must be a member or join by December 31, 2023. The workshops will be conducted by the cooperative’s social programs team, providing guidance for preparing projects in accordance with the guidelines of the next regulation. Entities that participate in one of the three workshops will receive 10 extra points in the final ranking.
Carla Ferreira, Social Programs advisor, emphasizes the importance of participating in the workshops, clarifying doubts and acquiring knowledge. “It is essential to conceive the project as an initiative that solves a problem,” she says.
