Nova Petrópolis will host the 2nd Smart Cities Park from November 22nd to 24th. The event will bring together public managers, representatives of entities and leading companies in the innovation and technology market to discuss solutions, trends and the economic development of municipalities. The three-day program takes place at the Nova Petrópolis Events Center and around 1,000 participants are expected.
Public managers from across the country, especially mayors and municipal secretaries, and leaders at the helm of large companies will be among those participating in the Smart Cities Park. The program will also bring together experts to discuss how it is possible to make cities smarter and more sustainable with the strategic use of technology and artificial intelligence, in order to improve citizens’ quality of life and stimulate the economy.
“This was an extremely successful event in 2022 and one that we are privileged to host again this year. Our visitors will certainly acquire a lot of knowledge about innovation and also enjoy the attractions of one of the most welcoming cities in Brazil”, says the mayor of Nova Petrópolis, Jorge Darlei Wolf.
It is still possible to register to participate in the full event program. Registration is free and entitles you to a certificate, upon participation in at least 70% of the activities. The complete schedule can be seen at site of the event.
Among the highlights of the program, on November 22nd, at 6:30 pm, the winners of the 5th Good Practices Award from Famurs (Federation of Municipal Associations of Rio Grande do Sul) will be announced. The Municipality of Nova Petrópolis is one of the finalists in the Tourism category, with the “Feel Nova Petrópolis” project.
The Smart Cities Park is an achievement of the Paulo Ziulkoski Institute, promoted by the Serra Tourism Municipalities Association (Amserra) and the support of Nova Petrópolis City Hall and Famurs. Register here and participate in the 2nd Smart Cities Park:
