In a new partnership, Carol Bassi and La Gea launched a special collection for the party season and trips to the coast. The pieces developed from Iran Costa’s handmade work capture the glam essence of Rio life during the 60s and 70s.
With raw materials from Italy and lace developed by hand by lacemakers from Sergipe – the designer’s home state –, the clothes guarantee the versatility, style and adaptability necessary for the end of year party season, accompanying the beach woman to the cocktail.
Its lace and sequins have curvilinear lines and resemble the famous Copacabana boardwalk, appearing in various applications of pants, bikinis, shirts, skirts and tops. The color palette only features a shade of white and silver, ideal for New Year. To ensure freshness during the summer, the items are designed in silk, linen, cotton and lycra, in a fluid and light design, perfect for high temperatures.
