The deadline for student registrations for the X Gramado in Concert, which takes place from January 26th to February 3rd, 2024, closed on Monday (6th), with a large number of registrants. In total, 826 students from 22 Brazilian states and 13 other countries are participating in the selection. The festival’s teachers will evaluate those registered and, soon, the list of those selected in the first call will be announced.
Among the countries registered are students from Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Germany, Mexico, Bolivia, Canada, Costa Rica, USA, Colombia and Portugal. Among Brazilians, Rio Grande do Sul had the most registrations (179). Then comes São Paulo (152) and Rio de Janeiro (67). “The 826 registrations received demonstrate the constant growth of the event. In the previous edition, there were 798 in the regular period. Another very relevant fact is the fact that the number of international registrations has increased significantly. While in the previous year we received 83 international applications, which represented 10.4% of the total, this year we received 139 international applications, which represented 17% of the total. The number of international countries was also greater, going from 11 to 13 countries represented”, compares the director of X Gramado In Concert, Leandro Serafim.
According to Seralim, the registration form remains open on the website lawninconcert.com.br for students who are interested in being on the reserve registration list. “Candidates who complete the form from November 7th will not be included in the evaluation for the first list of selected candidates, but may be called later”, explains the director.
