The Association of Christian Business Directors (ADCE) of Caxias do Sul will hold the 2024 Management Board Inauguration Dinner and the Homage to the Christian Director of the Year on November 10th. The event will be at 7pm, at the SICA Restaurant, next to the CIC.
The next administration will be led by president Janete Buniatti, who until now holds the position of vice-president alongside Alex Tonietto, and vice-president Vagner Stefan.
At the event, tribute will also be paid to José Luiz Facchin as Christian Leader of the Year 2023. A member of ADCE Caxias since 2009, Facchin, as he is known, will be honored for his humanitarian work in several projects, with emphasis on “Mãos que Ajudam ”, carried out in conjunction with the Food Bank, which allocates donations of non-perishable food, hygiene and cleaning materials to non-governmental and non-profit entities in the city.
Born in Caxias do Sul, Facchin has been working as a real estate agent for almost twenty years. During his career, he has worked as a helper in the family’s old warehouse, as a sales representative in a clothing factory in the city and even opened his own knitwear factory. The honoree even studied a few semesters of Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel).
Still surprised and moved by the news of the honor, Facchin remembers the invitation to participate in ADCE Caxias, which came from his former boss, who gave the registration form for the Reflection Meeting, in May 2009. “ADCE is a change in my life, a key turning point in the personal, spiritual sense and in starting to work for other people, because before that I was just a being who walked around without goals”, he gets emotional.
The dinner that marks the inauguration of the new board of directors of ADCE Caxias and the tribute to the Christian leader of the year 2023 is intended for members, guests and society in general. To participate, you must purchase a ticket at the ADCE secretariat, costing R$155.
