Elevada da Conceição will undergo repairs starting this Thursday, November 2nd. Maintenance will be carried out on the viaduct’s expansion joints, which are the divisions between two parts of the structure and are used to allow these parts to move without coming into contact and damaging the structure.
As a result, there will be a partial blockade of two lanes for the passage of vehicles in the Historic Center, starting at 8 am. Traffic is expected to open on both lanes on Sunday, November 5th, at 6am.
To minimize impacts on traffic in the region and ensure better fluidity, the Public Transport and Circulation Company (EPTC) informs that the use of the exclusive bus lane on the stretch will be open to private vehicles.
Drivers who will access the Conceição viaduct on Friday, November 3, are advised to move forward to avoid congestion due to heavy traffic. Agents will direct traffic to ensure road safety.
