Launched this semester, the GENEX Conecta program is a technical and educational monitoring initiative, structured to connect partners and solutions to serve the various spheres of livestock farming. The program offers a 360-degree approach to GENEX clients to enhance managerial, nutritional, reproductive and farm management processes. A strong aspect of the project is training for owners, teams, students and livestock enthusiasts.
It is in this sense that the program launches its 1st Genex Conecta Symposium, which will take place on the 6th and 7th of November, at the GENEX Campus headquarters, at the GENEX Central, in Uberaba (MG) – BR 050, KM 158. With the participation of more than ten partners, the event will cover everything from information management, reproductive management to sustainability in livestock farming. According to the executive director of GENEX Brasil, Sergio Saud, it will be a time to integrate partners and discuss livestock farming. “It is a meeting of a lot of knowledge, where we will seek ways for an increasingly integrated, technological, sustainable and productive production”, he pointed out.
GENEX Conecta was launched at EXPOGENÉTICA 2023 and is the result of years of studies and analysis of customer needs. “The project was born from the need to better understand livestock farmers, to put oneself in their shoes when faced with challenges and opportunities. More than selling genetics, it is necessary to be at their side, guiding them in a technical and educational way”, highlighted the zootechnician and responsible for the program, Gustavo Freitas.
As soon as the producer joins Conecta, the GENEX team diagnoses the property, creating a personalized project. The project is not limited to the process of choosing bulls to be used. Freitas explains that it also includes monitoring regarding health, nutrition, administration, people management and communication. “Genetic improvement is just one part of the breeding cycle. GENEX is close by, understanding the daily lives of its customers, the development of calves and the results of its products”, he added.
