The Gravataí Agricultural and Tourist Fair (Fearg), an annual event promoted by the City of Gravataí through the Municipal Department of Agriculture and Supply (Smaa), is back in its 9th edition with a series of innovations. This year, Fearg is proud to present a larger space, an amusement park, three food courts and more than 200 exhibitors.
For the first time, Fearg will be held at the Valecy Cabeleira Bitelo Events Park, expanding its space from 1 hectare in the last edition to an impressive 46 hectares in 2023. The objective is to surpass the commercial results of the previous year.
Denner Gelinger, Secretary of Agriculture and Supply, expresses Fearg’s purpose: “It was created with the aim of showing the most beautiful and productive aspects of our city. Therefore, we increasingly seek to improve the population’s experience, whether exhibitor or visitor.”
The Morungava Small Producers Cooperative will also be present at the 9th Fearg. Guilherme, a member of the cooperative, praises the organization of the event: “The space is much larger compared to last year, much better”.
Chácara Vila Nova Orgânicos, an agribusiness specializing in organic gluten-free and lactose-free ice creams, returns to the fair for the second year in a row. Luci Mara Almeida expresses her gratitude for the receptivity of local residents: “We came last year and gained many customers at Fearg. We really enjoy being here, the people of Gravataí are always very receptive to us.”
