The City of Gramado (RS) launched the notice for the public architecture and urban planning competition that aims to select the best proposals for the redevelopment of the surroundings of Lake Joaquina Rita Bier. The contest bases are available on site of the Competition. Interested parties will be able to register between 10/13/2023 and 11/22/2023 and the period for submitting proposals is from 11/20/2023 to 12/04/2023.
The object of the competition is one of the best-known public spaces in Gramado, which requires landscaping and ambience restructuring, integrating the surroundings of Lake Joaquina with the area of the municipality’s Department of Culture and other buildings in the Vila Joaquina Creative Territory.
The competition has national scope and takes place in partnership with the Institute of Architects of Brazil – Department of Rio Grande do Sul (IAB RS), in addition to having the support of the Brazilian Association of Landscape Architects – ABAP and IAB RS – Núcleo Hortênsias.
Award
The initiative is run by Gramado City Hall through the Planning, Culture and Environment departments and aims to select and reward the three best proposals presented and hire the winner for the development of all executive and complementary projects. The winning proposal will receive a prize of R$50,000.00 (fifty thousand reais) and will sign a contract to carry out the Executive Project worth R$550,000.00 (five hundred and fifty thousand reais).
