Ingredients:
- 250 grams of Ninho 3 Rooster Semolina Pasta;
- 2.5 liters of water;
- 1 drizzle of olive oil;
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
For the polpetone
- 400 grams of ground beef;
- 1 grated onion;
- 2 slices of chopped bread or stale bread;
- 1 ovo;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- 200 grams of grated mozzarella;
For the sauce
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil;
- 1 clove of chopped garlic;
- 2 cans of chopped peeled tomatoes;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- 100 grams of grated Parmesan cheese;
- Basil leaves to decorate.
Preparation mode:
Place the water, olive oil and salt in a large pan and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package, then drain and set aside. In a bowl, place the ground meat, onion, bread, egg and salt, and mix well with your hands. Take portions of meat and open them in the palm of your hand, fill with mozzarella and close in the shape of a hamburger, then refrigerate for 10 minutes.
In a pan, add the olive oil and garlic and let it brown. Add the peeled tomato and season with salt, cooking for 10 minutes. Heat a frying pan with 1 drizzle of olive oil and brown the polpetones on both sides for 5 minutes. Serve the pasta with the sauce accompanied by 1 polpetone and finish decorating with basil leaves.
