Fort Atacadista has more than 300 job openings in Rio Grande do Sul following the opening of new stores in the State.
The opportunities are for Caxias do Sul, which will receive the chain’s next store; Canoas and Viamão, where it already has units; and in São Leopoldo, where a Distribution Center and Bate Forte wholesale will be opened. Interested parties can apply by going in person to one of the Fort Atacadista stores or via the website
The initiative is part of a national action by Grupo Pereira, the seventh largest retailer in the country, also owner of the Comper supermarket banner, which announces the opening of more than 2 thousand job vacancies for various areas and positions, extending to both offices and more than 100 company units spread across the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Goiás and the Federal District.
The difference between these opportunities is their inclusive reach, aimed at a wide diversity of candidates. The vacancies accept candidates for first jobs, professionals over 50 years old, people with disabilities (PWDs), refugees and indigenous people.
The Pereira Group has stood out for its commitment to generational diversity in its workforce, currently employing more than 17 thousand employees, of which 12% of employees are 50 years old or over. This proportion significantly exceeds the average of just 3 to 5% of professionals over 50 years old in other companies, as indicated by studies by the consultancy Maturi.
The Pereira Group achieved the international Certified Age Friendly Employer (CAFE) seal, granted by the Age Friendly Institute in the United States. This recognition highlights the company’s good practices in relation to employees over 50 and its commitment to combating age-related prejudice in the workplace. The Pereira Group is the first Brazilian retail company to receive this certificate, a milestone that encourages further improvement in inclusion actions.
