The Novo Hamburgo Volleyball Cup already has the first finalist defined in the men’s category: Panzzer. The team qualified for the grand final of the competition last Wednesday, the 18th, at the Agostinho Cavasotto gym, by facing the Taugor team in the semifinal match and winning by 2 sets to 0 (25×21 and 25×18).
The other place in the final will be defined in the confrontation between Max Vôlei and Ginástica, which will be played this Wednesday, the 25th, at 8 pm, also at Ginásio Agostinho Cavasotto.
Women’s category continues with qualifying phase games
On Thursday, the 26th, two more matches will be played in the qualifying phase of the women’s category. In group A, Feevale will face the Max Vôlei team. Both teams are undefeated and will compete for first place in the bracket. In group B, SLB Vôlei will play against the Titanio team. The SLB Vôlei team is undefeated and leads the group, while Titanio is in third place, with one defeat and one victory.
Three games valid for the first phase of the women’s category were played on Thursday, the 19th. In group B, the Twister team beat the Sharks by 2 sets to 0, with partials of 23X25, 25X22 and 12X15. In group A, Max Vôlei didn’t give Sputnik a chance and won 2-0, with splits of 13X25 and 23X25. Also in group A, the Garra team defeated IENH by 2 sets to 0, with partials of 25×27 and 25×20.
