Sunny Saturday mobilized mothers, fathers and guardians who took 1038 children and adolescents between 0 and 14 years old (14 years, 11 months and 29 days) to a health unit on D-Day of the National Multivaccination Campaign. There were 619 from 0 to 4 years, 11 months and 29 days; 183 between 5 and 9 years, 11 months and 29 days; 236 from 10 to 14 years old.
From 9am to 4pm, this 21st, the Family Health Units (USFs) and Basic Health Units (UBSs) administered 1213 doses of vaccines: BCG, Hepatitis A and B, Penta DTP, Polio, Pneumo 10, Rotavirus, Meningo C, Meningo ACWY, Yellow Fever, Triple Viral, Tetra Viral, Chickenpox, HPV, diphtheria, tetanus, flu and covid.
“The team at the Department of Health was very happy with the mobilization and result of the vaccination on this D-Day. I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents and guardians of children and adolescents who were unable to attend today that the Campaign continues in health units until the next day 28”, highlights the Secretary of Health, Marcelo Reidel.
Vaccination in health units between the 23rd and 27th
From Monday, the 23rd, until Friday, the 27th, all Family Health Units (USFs) and Basic Health Units (UBSs) in the Municipality, in addition to the Vaccine House, will be open for the application of doses of immunizers within opening hours.
Saturday, the 28th, Vaccine House open
On the last day of the Campaign, on Saturday, the 28th, from 9am to 4pm, Casa de Vacina, located at Avenida Coronel Frederico Link, nº 900, in the Rio Branco neighborhood, will apply immunizations against flu and covid, in addition to updating the vaccination booklet.

To receive any vaccine during the Campaign, mothers, fathers or guardians must present the child or adolescent’s identification document, in addition to the vaccination booklet to record the doses.
