Farroupilha will hold the next edition of the Glass Collection Campaign this Saturday, October 21st, in a drive-thru format, on Rua 14 de Julho, in front of the Administrative Center, from 8am to 11:30am.
All types of glass will be accepted, including broken ones, such as bottles, glasses, various flasks, among others, with the exception of light bulbs and batteries, which require a specific destination. Cooking oil (used), medicine blisters (empty), caps, used sponges and cans and aluminum parts may also be discarded.
In this edition, the Carton Packaging Collection Campaign (Tetra Pack) is once again taking place, in partnership with the voluntary group As Andorinhas and the Scout Group Guaracy 78. In this way, boxes of milk, juice, condensed milk, among others, which will be destined for the As Andorinhas group to assist in the maintenance and protection of homes for people in socially vulnerable situations. They must be delivered clean.
Both actions are promoted by the Municipal Administration, through the Municipal Department of Urbanism and Environment, in partnership with the Farroupilhense Association for the Protection of the Natural Environment (Afapan), Recicladora Acaresul, Migra Soluções em Mobilidade, Tecnova company, voluntary group As Andorinhas and the Guaray 78 Scout Group.
