Resuming the historical tours of the Center of São Leopoldo, Interventura Urbana and Old São Leopoldo bring a new itinerary to the streets, visiting other tourist attractions in the city. This time the highlights are the birthdays of September: Museu Histórico Visconde de São Leopoldo; the Monument to the Centenary of German Immigration; Cine Independência and Cine Brasil. The walk will include entrances to the Visconde de São Leopoldo Historical Museum, the old Unisinos and also the old City Hall.
Also new in the timetables, which will now have two options, one in the morning, from 9am to 12pm, and another in the afternoon, from 2pm to 5pm.
The idea is to explore the route as much as possible, taking the opportunity to tell stories about buildings that are often not included in tourist itineraries. Remembering that around this region there are two properties listed by IPHAE and most of the properties are protected by the São Leopoldo heritage protection body.
According to Mateus do Nascimento, creator of the Old São Leopoldo profile and conductor of the Walk Tour, walks through this region of the Center are an additional step towards bringing back the notoriety of these very important points in our city, which due to insecurity, end up not being so frequented.
The objective of Interventura Urbana, directed by architect Júlia Rolim and photographer Lidiane Bortoli, is to enrich tourism in the city and bring a new perspective on places that are already present in everyday life; Also helping to generate a feeling of belonging and appreciation in relation to the city’s heritage.
For this edition, the Walk Tour has the support of Majestic Drinks, Senha Comunicação Integrada and São Leopoldo City Hall.
The investment to participate is 20 reais, and at the end of the event, each participant will receive a voucher for a drink offered by Majestic Drinks, supporters of the Walk Tour.
