A 38th Canoas Book Fair continues to liven up the city center with a variety of attractions for all tastes. This Tuesday (10), visitors can expect a series of activities, including exhibitions, storytelling, autograph sessions and meetings with writers.
School Programming and Zine Workshop
The school schedule continues at full speed. In addition to the traditional storytelling with Arthur Côrtes and Sílvia Graebin, there will be a Zine Workshop, led by Wender Zanon and Erico Noronha, aimed at students in the final years of elementary school.
Meeting with Writers at the ‘Canoense Writer’ Table
The ‘Ecritor Canoense’ table will welcome three big names for an enriching conversation about Short Stories. Henrique Martins de Freitas, Romi Lemos and Chico Neto will be available to the community from 6pm, at the Sady Schwitz Auditorium. Soon after, in the same place, the long-awaited meeting with writers Gilberto Schwartsmann and Sergius Gonzaga will take place.
Meet the Authors
Gilberto Schwartsmann is a renowned doctor, writer and bibliophile who presided over several cultural institutions and has published several books. Sergius Gonzaga is a respected professor of Brazilian Literature at UFRGS who teaches courses at Casa de Ideias and has participated in hundreds of courses, tables and lectures in Brazil and abroad.
