During the week of Children’s Day, Passo Fundo Shopping, in partnership with Colégio Notre Dame, in Passo Fundo, organized a series of activities to celebrate childhood and the school’s 100 years of history. The activities will be available to the enterprise’s customers until Thursday, October 12th.
All actions are free and include Instagrammable environments, a play lounge for children of all ages, educational toys, creative challenges, storytelling moments and a 360° video and photo platform. On the 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th of October, starting at 5:30 pm, there will also be activities such as face painting.
Pink October
Inaugurating its Pink October program, Passo Fundo Shopping, in partnership with the Association for the Support of People with Cancer (AAPECAN), promotes the “Together for Life” photo exhibition free of charge between the 3rd and 31st of October. Through the photos, it is possible to learn about the stories of women who battled the disease, as well as men who faced prostate cancer. The images are by photographer Sidinei Machado, from SD Live TV, and convey the power of human resilience in the face of adversity. In addition, the mall will also have its facade illuminated in the color alluding to the Pink October campaign over the next few weeks.
Military Brigade Cultural Exhibition
Between the 5th and 8th of October, Passo Fundo Shopping hosts the Military Brigade Cultural Exhibition celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the 3rd RPMON (Mounted Police Regiment). Free for the entire community, in the exhibition it is possible to see old cars, clothing and documents that are part of the Porto Alegre Military Brigade Museum and that pay homage to the institution’s activities and trajectory. The venue is located on the 2nd Floor and on the 5th, 6th and 7th, at 6:30 pm, the Military Brigade band will perform in the development’s Food Court.
South Photo Group Show
Passo Fundo Shopping, in partnership with Grupo Foto Sul, is promoting a special photographic exhibition with 20 works by artists from all over the country, including two professionals from the enterprise. Exhibited on Floor 01, in front of Loja Americanas, the photographic exhibition is free and includes among the works images of Penélope Andeline from São Paulo, with photos of the family of country singer Daniel and also Dani Badaró from Rio with photographs of Edson Celulari and his family. The images capture special moments and memories over time with the different perspectives of photographers, in addition to valuing two names from the region: Ariele Batista and Cris Nunes.
