The Minister of Health, Nísia Trindade, will have to explain to the Chamber of Deputies about the presentation of an exotic dance that took place during an event held by the department this week.
The request for explanations was filed by the 2nd vice-president of the House, Sóstones Cavalcante (PL-RJ), who questions the presentation that took place at the 1st Health Promotion Mobilization Meeting in Brazil.
“The aforementioned erotic dance performance at the aforementioned event does not comply with the policies and guidelines established by the Ministry of Health in relation to health promotion”, states the deputy in the application, filed this Friday (6/10).
The presentation took place on Thursday (5/10). From the images posted on social media, it is possible to see a dancer dancing to the sound of the song “Batcu”, by Aretuza Lovi with the participation of Valesca Popozuda.
The event was organized by the Department of Prevention and Health Promotion of the Secretariat of Primary Health Care, with the aim of promoting the implementation of the National Health Promotion Policy.
The presentation became the target of opposition on social media. In the last few hours, parliamentarians have released videos of the dance criticizing Nísia Trindade’s management.
