Casa Valduga and Ponto Nero, brands from the Famiglia Valduga Group, will donate part of the proceeds from the sales of their sparkling rosé wines to the League to Combat Cancer of Garibaldi in reference to Pink October. In total, 5% of purchases of these labels made on the Group’s e-commerce will go to the non-profit organization located in Garibaldi, Rio Grande do Sul. This is the third year that the Group has carried out this type of social action during the month of October.
Casa Valduga is recognized for producing sparkling wines using the champenoise method, which is traditionally French, resulting in more intense and persistent drinks. Ponto Nero, on the other hand, prepares its labels using the charmat method, which has Italian origins and less contact with yeast, making the sparkling wine lighter and more refreshing.
The action between the brands of the Famiglia Valduga Group and the Garibaldi Cancer Fighting League aims to draw attention to the importance of self-examination and also routine exams, aiming for the early diagnosis of as many cases as possible, as early treatments can be very successful.
Since 2002, the organization has helped underprivileged cancer patients in the municipality of Garibaldi, in addition to working with the community through educational campaigns. Aiming to alleviate the problems of those suffering from cancer, the entity helps to make up for the material deficit, provides care and attention to patients, in addition to explaining to patients the benefits guaranteed by law.
The League’s actions are made possible by donations from the community and the sale of its own products developed by the entity through voluntary work. And this October, the organization will count on the donation of Casa Valduga and Ponto Nero. Sparkling rosé wines from both brands are available on Familgia Valduga’s e-commerce.
