Taquara is holding the traditional Feira do Peixe Vivo this Friday (6), which will be held monthly from this first edition in 2023. The joint initiative between the municipal administration and the Rural Union of Vale do Paranhana promotes the heating of the local economy through direct sales from fish farmers to residents who enjoy the delicacy.
The Live Fish Fair is scheduled to take place from 10am to 5pm, at the headquarters of the Rural Union of Vale do Paranhana, located at Rua Guilherme Lahm, 870, in the city center.
The municipal secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, Jorginho Almeida, highlights the importance of the Live Fish Fair for Taquara. “We are getting closer to rural producers, both in agriculture and livestock, who now have the partnership of municipal management in events that boost our economy and provide great opportunities for employment and income”, he highlights.
