Yesterday afternoon (02/10), the Chamber of Deputies launched the Parliamentary Front for Chronic Skin Diseases. This is a pioneering initiative by Psoriasis Brasil, coordinated by federal deputy Zé Haroldo Cathedral (PSD/RR). The Front’s main objective is to support public policies and actions aimed at chronic skin diseases, in addition to ensuring universal access to diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.
Launch ceremony and Brazilian Symposium on Chronic Skin Diseases
The official launching ceremony of the Parliamentary Front will be held this Wednesday (4/10), at the Freitas Nobre Auditorium of the Chamber of Deputies, in Brasília/DF, at 2pm. This event precedes a meeting of great importance in the health sector, the 1st Brazilian Symposium on Chronic Skin Diseases.
The symposium will bring together health professionals, medical societies and public bodies to discuss diagnoses, treatments and public policies for patients with psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, chronic spontaneous urticaria and hidradenitis suppurativa. The event is promoted by the NGO through the Skin Diseases project and will feature the participation of several entities, including the Ministry of Health, the Brazilian Society of Dermatology, CONITEC, ANS and the Brazilian Association of Allergy and Immunology.
Recent research and treatment advances
The symposium will also present the latest research carried out in the country, providing a comprehensive overview of advances in the treatment of chronic skin diseases. This is a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals and patients to better understand these conditions and the treatment options available.
