Santa Maria will have lots of parties and good food this weekend, October 7th and 8th, with the Barbecue and Cuca Festival, in the Boca do Monte district. The event will be held in the space attached to Valdir’s Bar, on Rua João Éden, close to the city hall.
There will be two days to enjoy the gastronomic and artisanal production of the region and also to have moments of fun watching the musical shows and the motorcycle meeting. On Saturday (7), the party runs from 2pm to 10pm, and on Sunday (8), from 9am to 8pm. Entrance is free, with a craft fair and food court.
Santa Maria City Hall, through the Rural Development Secretariat, provides support to the party, with publicity and provision of structure, sound system and chemical toilets. During the event, the 11th anniversary of the Pharaós Estradeiros motorcycle group will be celebrated.
On Saturday, there will be shows by the bands Purple Rain, at 3pm, Nuclear, at 5:30pm, Red Truckers, at 8pm, and Grupo Sanfona, at 8:30pm. On Sunday, the attractions are Douglas Braga, from 3pm to 5pm, and the closing will be with the band Duplo Astral, from 5pm.
