ONDM: “The Business of Fashion”
ONDM Brasil 2023, the biggest event in the clothing industry in Brazil, is back in Santa Catarina. From October 3rd to 5th, Balneário Camboriú will be the stage for lectures, talks and a business fair with more than 180 spaces for company exhibitions.
An Innovative Business Fair
Ivan Jasper, creator of the event, expects to receive around 12 thousand visitors over the three days. The business fair will feature the exhibition of more than 90 brands, offering a wide range of inputs, products, services and technologies for the clothing industry.
The Textile Industry: A Billion Dollar Sector
The Brazilian textile industry employs 1.34 million people and contributed 2% of the national GDP in 2022. In 2020, this industry’s revenue was R$161 billion.
Innovation in Inputs for Textile Manufacturing
Exhibitors will present to the public the most innovative inputs for textile manufacturing. According to Ivan Jasper, these inputs include software, different technologies for entrepreneurs who have clothing, retail or wholesale, yarns, knits, fabrics and trim components, machines, digital printing and brand activations.
Sharing Knowledge and Experiences
During the three days of the event, experts from the fashion industry will take the stage to share knowledge and experiences on topics that are trending in the market.

Lecture with Carlos Ferreirinha, former president of Louis Vuitton Brasil and founder of MFC Consultoria, the first specialized in luxury management in Latin America. Carlos Ferreirinha brings to the ONDM stage his vision and experience in business strategies in the luxury market marked by 7 years of experience as an executive at Louis Vuitton for Latin America, the Caribbean and Brazil.

Talk with Patrícia Bonaldi, creator of PatBO, a brand that is at the top of Brazilian fashion with 10 stores in Brazil and that has been conquering the world with a new boutique opened in New York. Mediation by Sandra Bronzina (Donaire).
“Success is thinking big (and working to get there)”
Lecture with the founder and CEO of RM Consulting, Rachel Maia, who developed her leadership skills throughout her career, starting as a senior financial controller at Seven Eleven and going on to become CEO of Lacoste Brasil. Rachel was also responsible for expanding the Pandora brand in Brazil, transforming it from two points of sale to more than 100 in just over 7 years. She defied barriers, becoming an inspiration for thousands of black women in Latin America.
“Understanding the new trend cycle”
Lecture with Mariana Santolinni, Customer Experience manager at WGSN in Latin America. With a degree in Fashion Business and a postgraduate degree in Materials and Fabrics Research from Central Saint Martins and with 12 years of experience in trend research, Mariana brings her strategic vision to the ONDM stage.

“The incorporation of ESG practices in the textile chain and fashion businesses”
Talk with Eduardo Ferlauto, general manager of sustainability at Renner stores and executive director of Instituto Lojas Renner, and Dalila Portela, environmental specialist at Grupo SOMA. Moderated by the founding partner of LCM Innovation and Sustainability and FIB – Fashion Innovation Business, Américo Guelere.
