The daytime looks are inspired by haute couture and feature a looser silhouette than in previous seasons.
Anthony Vaccarello was inspired by Amelia Earhart, Adrienne Bolland and other pioneering women in aviation and motorsports. The result combines assertive sophistication, taking advantage of elements from the men’s wardrobe, making them lastingly feminine.
Variations on the safari jacket and jumpsuits are among the key pieces whose utilitarian ease contrasts with the belted waist. Predominance of cotton and linen in earthy colors, from olive green and brown to sand and chalk, demonstrate a natural inclination, while elegant accessories – including leather gloves and high heels.
