Recognized as a symbol of Porto Alegre and the most traditional point of commerce in the city, the Public Market will celebrate 154 years of history. And to celebrate this important date, the celebration will be in charge of the singer MaLu with the show Pagode da MaLu, in an event that is free and open to the public.
The event takes place on October 10th, Tuesday, from 7pm. The singer, who reached the milestone of being the most listened to samba and pagode artist in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, will present her show with special guests: singer and composer Rodriguinho, Mr.Dan, Doce Encontro, As Pagodeiras and Grupo Chocolate.
As for the participation of the Pagodeiras, there will be 7 women representing the women’s movement in the pagoda, which went viral with MaLu on social media. Coming from São Paulo, Tocantins, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, As Pagodeiras will show the strength and unity of women in a previously male segment.
In addition to the live show, the event will be recorded on a DVD at the Market, directed by Rodriguinho, in a performance that will be marked in the history of Porto Alegre.

After 10 years in samba and participating in The Voice Brasil 2019, singer MariaLuiza launched the project “Pagode da MaLu”, becoming the 1st Pagodeira in Rio Grande do Sul.
