Teacher Dávine Muniz Cordeiro, 34 years old, who was thrown from a toy at the Mirabilandia amusement park, in Olinda, Greater Recife, remains in serious condition, but clinically stable. The victim is admitted to Hospital da Restauração (HR), in Derby, Recife Center, in an induced coma and breathing with the help of equipment.
The teacher’s transfer to a private hospital is being negotiated with Mirabilandia.
Dávine’s uncle, Ricardo Lima, tries to establish an agreement with the park so that she can be transferred to a private hospital that has neurologists available 24 hours a day, because “if there is any complication with the patient, with the professional at the hospital, the time spent response will be different from the hospital that only has one neurosurgeon under notice. By the time the neurosurgeon arrives at the hospital it may be too late,” she said.
