PUCRS, in partnership with the Municipal Health Department of Porto Alegre, will hold Vaccination Day at PUCRS this Tuesday, September 26th. The action is free and open to the public, and aims to expand access to the vaccination schedule for the population of Rio Grande do Sul.
How to get vaccinated
To be vaccinated, you must be 18 years old or over and present a photo ID along with the SUS Card or Vaccination Card (if you have one). The service is open to people from Porto Alegre and the Metropolitan Region.
Vaccination takes place in room 127 of building 9 (School of Humanities), from 9am to 4pm. There is no need to schedule an appointment.
What vaccines are available
The following vaccines will be offered:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella)
- dT (Diphtheria and Tetanus)
- Yellow fever
- Gripe
- Covid-19
Vaccination against Covid-19 follows the calendar defined by Porto Alegre City Hall. To find out who can be vaccinated against Covid-19, visit https://prefeitura.poa.br/coronavirus/vacina.
