In Farroupilha, an integrated action between the Department of Health and the Associação Farroupilhanse Pró Saúde will take the Mobile Health Unit to the Rural Producer’s Fair this Saturday, September 23rd. The initiative is part of the Workers’ Saturday program, which takes place in all Basic Health Units (UBS’s). The service will take place between 8am and 12pm.
Medical care will be offered, with a general practitioner, dentist, psychologist and physiotherapist, as well as pre-cancer collection, rapid tests to detect sexually transmitted diseases, vaccination in general – including against Covid-19.
Yellow September
Furthermore, this month, when Yellow September is celebrated, the Mobile Unit, as well as the UBS’s, have a special program focused on mental health, such as listening to psychologists.
The objective is to include workers at the Producer’s Fair and also the population that makes their purchases there, in addition to the Festes Farroupilhas movement that is taking place next to Largo Carlos Fetter.
