C&A launched an unprecedented collection, with clothes made using the upcycling technique, in partnership with Ventana – a Brazilian brand known for its dedication to giving new life to materials that would otherwise be thrown away.
Displaying the motto, “there is no final destination, make it cyclical”, Ventana, founded by Gabriella Pilotto, is recognized as a trending label in the fashion market. With work entirely focused on reusing second-hand pieces, scraps and materials that would otherwise be discarded, the brand’s objective is, through the creative process, to unaccustom the eye to the obvious and transform everyday pieces and fabrics into art.
The heart of this capsule collection is denim and the idea of circular fashion, which aims to reduce waste and minimize the environmental impact of the fashion industry. Showcasing exclusive items such as pants, shorts and jackets from a fashionable and daring perspective, the collection is made up of pieces donated at the ReCiclo Movement polls, clothes that had small defects and unused stocks from suppliers.
