The Instituto Capitalismo Consciente Brasil (ICCB) will hold its third Brazilian forum on September 20th, which will bring together leaders from across the country to debate sensitive issues in society and present success stories of companies that adopt the concept of conscious capitalism. The event, which takes place at the Amcham Brasil Business Center, in São Paulo, will have the participation of the executive director of Sicredi Pioneira, Solon Stahl, who represents the movement’s Rio Grande do Sul branch.
What is conscious capitalism?
Conscious capitalism is a global movement that proposes a new way of doing business, based on four pillars: greater purpose, conscious culture, conscious leadership and stakeholder orientation. The objective is to generate value for everyone involved in the production chain, from employees to customers, suppliers, the community and the environment.
The movement was founded by John Mackey, CEO of the supermarket chain Whole Foods Market, and Raj Sisodia, a professor at Babson College. They are the authors of the book Conscious Capitalism: How to Liberate the Heroic Spirit of Business, which inspired the creation of the Instituto Capitalismo Consciente Brasil (ICCB) in 2013.
Who will participate in the forum?
